About Us

This website was created by researchers at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine with the assistance of our Community Advisory Board as part of a National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded research project, named “Check It”.  The study is designed for African American men aged 15-24 years old in order to promote sexual health and wellness including sexually transmitted infections (STI), with a focus on chlamydia and gonorrhea, treatment, and condom use. We hope this site will be shared with others to provide information and education to peers and partners.

Feedback on the website is welcome and appreciated and can be emailed to or call us at 504-988-2345.
